Intra Lumbini Basketball Competition
We have, recently hosted an exhilarating intracollege basketball competition, showcasing the skills of 38 boys’ teams and 32 girls’ teams. The event, held at the college’s own basketball ground over two days, culminated in the crowning of champions.
Badminton Extravaganza
Adding to the sporting passion, an intracollege badminton competition was organized, featuring both singles and doubles matches for boys and girls. Over 120 students showcased their prowess on the court in this spirited event. Held at the Dhanwantari Sports Academy, the competition provided a platform for athletes to exhibit their agility and finesse. Winners and runners-up were duly honored with medals and certificates for their outstanding achievements.
Tug of War Competition
Tug of war enhance the competitive team spirit among students with 14 boys’ team and 6 girls team participant, which was held in our school arena.
Knockout Cricket Tournament
Cricket enthusiasts at Lumbini Academy rejoiced as the college hosted a thrilling intra-college cricket tournament. Thirteen teams from both the plus two and bachelor levels battled it out on the field at the Golfutar Cricket Arena. With intense matches.
Table Tennis Competition
Table Tennis competition was held in school arena with active participation of interested students.
Volleyball Tournament
Volleyball Tournament brings a lot of energy and competition with participant of around 40 to 50 students at Merolingyasum, Lazimpat.
Blood Donation, Dental, and Eye Check-Up Programs
On the auspicious occasion of Saraswati Puja, Lumbini Academy took a commendable initiative by organizing a series of community welfare programs,
including a free blood donation drive, dental checkup, and eye check-up camp. The event, aimed at promoting health awareness and community service, witnessed an overwhelming response from students, teachers, parents, and local residents.
Lumbini Futsal Premier League
Once again, we brought the community together through the exhilarating Lumbini Futsal Premier League, now in its 8th season since its inception in 2027. The league, held at the college’s own futsal ground, featured a staggering 32 boys’ teams and 17 girls’ teams, showcasing the growing enthusiasm for the sport among the youth.
This year’s tournament witnessed fierce competition among participants from various academic backgrounds, including grade IX, X, XI, XII, BBM, BCA, and MBs programs. Matches were fiercely contested in a league format, with knockout rounds commencing from the round of 16, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats throughout the event.
Rafting and Hiking
College recently put together an exciting one-night visit including rafting and hiking adventure for students. The event was scheduled at Trisuli river side, and Sukute Beach.
Wall Climbing Adventure
Grade XI and XII students from a travel, tourism, and mountaineering group recently embarked on a thrilling wall climbing expedition. As part of their practical training, the students scaled vertical walls, honing their skills in preparation for future endeavors in mountain climbing and guiding tourists.
The objective of wall climbing extends beyond mere physical activity, offering valuable lessons in teamwork, problem-solving, and conquering challenges.

Starting from the 27th of Magh, t he college has initiated a weekly cleaning program that will continue indefinitely. This program aims to maintain the cleanliness of the Kathmandu City National Heritage Site, public spaces, and communities across the city.

Students of grade XI and XII recently showcased their presentation skills in an exciting event. Students were grouped into teams of three and assigned different topics to present. Armed with PowerPoint slides.
Banking Orientation
Banking orientation program for plus 2 level students, aiming to enhance banking literacy. The event enlightened students on fundamental banking operations while addressing the surge in digital theft. With banking digital theft on the rise, the session emphasized safeguarding against online threats. Students engaged in interactive sessions to grasp overall banking functions, empowering them with essential financial knowledge. Furthermore, they had the opportunity to fill out account opening forms, providing a practical understanding of the banking process. The objective of the program is twofold: firstly, to equip students with the necessary knowledge to navigate the intricacies of banking, and secondly, to raise awareness about the growing threat of digital theft in the banking sector.
One-Day Share Market Workshop
One-day share market workshop aimed at enhancing students’ investment skills and providing detailed knowledge about the share market was hosted. Renowned personalities from the share market field provided comprehensive training, explaining both primary and secondary markets along with prospective risks and
returns. Students were educated about share market terminology, IPOs, FPOs, as well as the dynamics of bull and bear marketS.
Quiz Competition
Students from Plus 2 level recently showcased their knowledge prowess in a thrilling quiz competition. The event, featuring 12 dynamic teams, captivated audiences with questions spanning geography, science, history, sports, national and international events, contemporary issues, and technology. The competition culminated in an adrenaline-pumping rapid-fire round, challenging participants to think on their feet.
